Installation Precautions

Access the window regulator assembly: Once the door panel is removed, you should have access to the window regulator assembly. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with its components and the mounting points.

Remove the old regulator: Disconnect any cables or electrical connectors attached to the old regulator. Remove the mounting bolts or screws that secure the regulator to the door frame. Gently detach the old regulator from the window glass.

Install the new regulator: Align the new regulator with the mounting points on the door frame. Secure it in place using the appropriate bolts or screws. Reconnect any cables or electrical connectors as needed.

Test the regulator: Before reassembling the door panel, test the window regulator to ensure it's functioning correctly. Reconnect the battery and operate the window controls to raise and lower the window. Verify that the regulator moves smoothly and the window aligns properly.

Reassemble the door panel: Once the new regulator is confirmed to be working correctly, reattach the door panel. Align the clips and screws properly, and gently press the panel back into place. Reconnect any electrical connectors and secure the panel using the appropriate fasteners.
